The 2 Friends' visits in 2012 will be:

Summer Guided Tour -- Ancient Rochester.

This visit will take place on Saturday, 16th June, 2011 at 2.15pm.

It is many years since the CKA visited historic Rochester, so a guided tour has been arranged for friends. A special tour, led by a guide form the Rochester Society, around the historic city centre, will include Roman, medieval, and post-medieval sites and buildings.

Please meet by 2.15pm at outside the entrance to the Guildhall Museum in the High Street.

Autumn Guided Tour -- Industrial Archaeology in Gravesend.

This visit will take place on Sunday, 2nd September.

Jim Preston, Industrial Archaeology Offficer for the CKA, is giving another of his excellent tours -- this time of industrial archaeological sites and buildings in Gravesend.

Meet outside the northern exit of Gravesend railway station (opposite the rear of Debenhams) to start the walk at 2.30pm.

These visits are open to all paid-up Friends of the CKA.

No need to book -- just turn up on the day
