Report on KARGC Annual General Meeting.
The Annual General Meeting of the Council took place in Maidstone on 18th November and was attended by nearly sixty people. Reports were given of the good progress made by the various schemes at present in operation. The Chairman gave an outline of the future activities which were contemplated. They included an extension of the Panel of Lecturers, an essay award scheme, a training school and a pottery library.
The formal business was followed by a thought-provoking talk by Norman Cook, BA, FSA, Director of The Guildhall Museum, on the future of museums in Kent.
