About the CKA.
It is with considerable pleasure that we welcome two new officers to the CKA and we wish them every success in their new appointments. Dr W Soper, a prehistorian and traveller of considerable experience, has kindly accepted the position of Chairman at least until the formal elections at the next AGM. He fills the vacancy left by Roger Walsh who resigned for personal reasons and these notes acknowledge the contribution he has made to the work of the Council.
Miss Wendy Dolphin has taken on the editorship of the KAR having spent several years in the editorial office of a leading London journal. Wendy takes over from Victor Smith who has completed his agreed term of office with signal success. His efforts and hard work have maintained and even improved the high standards of the Review and the ever increasing list of subscribers reflects the rapidly growing interest in archaeology when presented in an acceptable and interesting manner.
