by Keith Parfitt.

A further investigation of the probable Iron Age site at Whitfield Recreation Ground, nr. Dover (NGR TR 303 453) reported in KAR 38, page 243, revealed another 'U-shaped' ditch running in a north-west / south-east direction some 1.60 metres south-west of Feature 'A' noted in the previous article. Finds included 4 pot sherds similar to those found in Feature 'A' and some burnt flints from the 1.50 metre length of ditch excavated.
