St. Edith of Kemsing.
St Edith was born in Kemsing in AD961, the daughter of King Edgar and the Lady Wulfrith. She died in AD984 and was canonised following reports of miracles being worked at her tomb in Wilton, where she lived most of her life as a nun.

The village still has an original red phone box (now 'listed').

The tour finished with tea at the Heritage Centre.
